Virtual Community Grief Recovery Support
This is your community grief recovery and support resource tool. It’s a safe and sacred place to process your grief journey. All are welcome to journey with us. Whether you've experienced a recent loss of a loved one or if you are dealing with unresolved grief we are here as a community to support you as you heal and grow forward.

Learning How To Forgive
If we ever needed the Lord before we sure do need Him now. We've seen the need for more forgiveness and grace unveiling before our eyes. The systems of this world are changing before us. Wars and rumors of war. Political uprising and democratic debates. There are some who have more confidence, truth and trust in actors and comedians than preachers and religious prophets. We were taught growing up that a half truth is still a lie. Some would rather pay to have someone entertain us with half truths to make us feel good in our pain than to turn our faith towards the truth and heal. When did it become okay to slander one another or tear down one another by lifting up another. We need to focus our attention on God's agenda. God and sinners reconciled....peace on earth good will towards men....this will bring joy to the world.

A Woman Making A Difference In Community
Be Helpful. Remember those who helped you and be ready to help those who are in need. But know that you cannot help everyone because everyone does not want or need your help. Some are not even ready for your help. Ask God who shall I help today and be led by His Holy Spirit. Somebody helped you to be where you are today. It’s helpful to be helpful when necessary.
Isaiah 41:6

Religious Practice in Daily Life
Know That You Are Anointed For The Real You:
There will be circumstances you have to go through....things that you and I may not fathom, but if we fix our eyes on the dream maker and the vision shaper it will happen. The real you is the spiritual you. The one who will exist throughout eternity. Body and brains should compliment the real you. God will not ask you what you can not do. He will not ask you to give what you can not give. He will not ask you to do what He has not equipped you to do. He will have you to do what He has already equipped you for and what He has equipped you with. Start with what you have. Give what you have to give. Do just what He says and get there (obey God) God has something for us! So, Protect and Preserve it!
Know and Proclaim That I Am Anointed For The Real Me. Isaiah 55:3, 6-7

7 Reasons to Give Back to the Community
I believe that if we want to get back to being a more neighborly and peaceful society that we should look at generativity as a society. Generativity is the propensity and willingness to engage in acts that promote the wellbeing of younger generations as a way of ensuring the long-term survival of the human species. Generativity is a genuine concern about people other than yourself and your family.
There are at least 7 practical things that we can do to create safe and strong community;
1. Read to a child or elder.
2. Teach somebody a skill.
3. Donate blood, clothing, your time. and talent.
4. Attend a neighborhood or community meeting.
5. Produce a piece of art or craft.
6. Give money to a charity.
7. Assume a leadership position in a group that you are skilled and passionate about.
Just like we believed that an apple a day will keep the doctor away because of certain nutrients that are found in apples. I believe generativity a day will keep violence away and will create productivity in our communities for a better, productive and brighter future. Give back where you have taken. Take care of what birthed you. Help raise where you were raised. Sow where you have grown.
Take personal responsibility to give and give back to the neighborhood where you grew up.
Find where you can pass on your knowledge and share your experiences.
Generativity is the connecting of generations to insure that the future is in good hands and that legacy will live on from generation to generation. Everything that we need to succeed has been placed inside of us from God. It is our God given right to give back.

National Day Of Prayer 2009
This news article was written 2009 from the Chester Spirit Newspaper during our Chester National Day of Prayer Service. We had a time of prayer and intercession along with songs of praise and inspirational speakers and Community Leaders. The Community that prays together will stand together.

When Is It Okay To Tell God "No"
Many grew up in a time where there were certain people you did not say “no” to. You did not tell your mother “no”. You dare not tell your father “no” and you didn’t tell anyone in authority “no”. So, when did it become okay to tell God no? His plan for you and I is always to bless us and never to harm us. Stop telling God no and get your blessings, benefits and rewards. Deuteronomy 10:12; St Mark 12:30; I Kings 2:3
God is Almighty and All Knowing! He is Creator and Absolute Holy. He knows your future and what is best for you. Before anything happens, God already knows. It would be to our advantage to do what He says because Father God knows best. So, the next time you think about telling God "no", remember that He loves you more than you could love yourself and that your "yes" to Him will lead you on and into your destiny.
Your "yes" could cost you some friends. Your "yes" could cost you some popularity but your "no" could cost you your life and rob you of God-opportunities. Keep in mind your "yes" is an act of your will. Your "no" could block the blessings of others. Don't give up on God.

Hear Ye The Voice Of The Father
Hear Ye Hear Ye For Yourself: Know and hear the voice of the Lord for yourself. let those who have spiritual ears hear, what Holy Spirit is saying. The children know the voice of their Father. The voice of the Father is different from the voice of the stranger. Take time in prayer to hear from your Heavenly Father.
St Matthew 13:16,43; St John 10:4-5

The President's Award
One of the proudest community moments of my life was when I received the President's Award from The Chester PA Local Branch NAACP 2019. I love to support and serve my community. I don't look for recognition but rather I look for opportunities to shine light in and on a city that has not always gotten positive attention. During my community leadership involvement I've met a lot of good and hardworking people who have the same good values and work ethics to stick to a project until it gets done. If we are going to achieve much in our community we need to invest in our youth, education, vocation, recreation and salvation.
We must have faith in what we do. Faith in God, faith in family, faith in friends, faith in our future and faith to maintain the work to sustain our community. We walk by faith and not by sight is more than just a verse written in the Holy Bible. It is a life practice to be led by our faith and intuitive discerning led by the Holy Spirit rather than solely on emotion and surface perception.
Let the work I've done speak 🗣 for me; Tent Sister; Girl Scout; All City Choir; All City Band; Student Government; Church Member; Minister; Servant Leader; Weed and Seed Coordinator; Office of Community Liasion Director; Community, Youth and Senior Advocate; Police Chaplain; Chester Bereavmemt Project Founder; Organizational Strategic Leader; Singer; Songwriter; Author; Playwright; Entrepreneur and Business Owner.
